Our Visionary Founder
Marcha Isabelle Chaudry
Marcha is an attorney with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, public policy, and advocacy, and the driving force behind the Equity and Wellness Collaborative (EWC). Her extensive background in cosmetic policy, consumer safety, women’s health policy, and strategic advocacy on Capitol Hill has positioned her as a respected thought leader, passionately championing public welfare, business acumen, and the interests of marginalized groups.
Before establishing EWC, Marcha played an influential role in shaping cosmetic policy, providing expert testimony before Congress and the FDA, and advocating for marginalized groups and enhanced cosmetic safety regulations. These experiences provided her with profound insights into the regulatory complexities and safety of cosmetic ingredients. Her expertise has been featured in prestigious media outlets such as Good Morning America, HBO, Democracy Now, and more.
Marcha currently serves as a legal and regulatory consultant for beauty and wellness brands, offering expert guidance to navigate complex industry regulations. She actively works with nonprofit organizations, focusing on impact campaigns, program development, and grant writing.
In addition, Marcha holds advisory board positions with the Black Beauty Justice Project, supporting the certification of Black-owned beauty brands, and Radical Science, where she advocates for diversity and inclusion in clinical trials, particularly for historically underrepresented Black and Brown communities. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Beauty Association (IBA) and actively participates in several trade association committees, contributing to the development of ethical business practices and the advancement of cosmetic industry regulations.
Marcha's Holistic Approach
Beyond her legal prowess, Marcha is a certified Pranic Healer, integrating holistic well-being into business performance and employee wellness. Her unique blend of legal expertise, commitment to DEI, and holistic approach provides a comprehensive service to businesses striving for excellence in today’s competitive market.
